About Us

The Housing Economist is a collective of Economists and Housing Practitioners, who have a keen interest in housing. There are segments of the housing market, from social housing to home ownership.

The main purpose is not only to change the image of social housing but to carry put research into new ways of providing housing.

There will also be a serious investigation into the supply-side of the housing market. We are also looking to use coproduction in order to find sustainable solutions.

The Housing Economist is about changing perceptions of social housing and its purpose in the wider economy.
